The Independent Electrical Contractors of Northern Ohio

The Northern Ohio Electrical Contractors Association (NOECA), an association of independent electrical contractors in the greater Cleveland area, was founded in 1964. Nearly 30 years later, NOECA allied itself with IECA (Independent Electrical Contractors Association), a national independent electrical contractor organization which focuses on workforce development and both safety and legislative issues related to the open merit shop. IEC Northern Ohio is a part of a network of 53 nationwide chapters, and has been better able to serve its members with apprenticeship and educational opportunities, safety programs, and strong legislative representation to the independent merit-shop electrical contractors of Northern Ohio.

BOARD OF DIRECTORS

IEC Northern Ohio is governed by volunteers that are elected to serve on the Board of Directors which directs policies and operations of the association according to its Bylaws. An Executive Committee is the policy, finance and steering committee and oversees affairs of the association between meetings of the Directors, subject to actions of the Board.
